Situated on Old Street, just a few minutes’ walk from Old Street and Barbican tube stations, LSO St Luke’s offers your guests the convenience of a City location with the‘wow-factor’ of a unique, heritage space. Entering through the building’s elegant façade your guests will be surprised and delighted as they find themselves in the Jerwood Hall surrounded by its stunning contemporary interior, warmed by hints of original 18th-century decorations.

Hire periods
Daytime venue hire £4,750 + VAT
Hours of access including get-in and get-out 0900 to 1700
Evening venue hire £5,500 + VAT
Hours of access including get-in 1800 to 2300
Full-day venue hire £7,750 + VAT
Hours of access including get-in 0900 to 2300
Hours of access
Guests must be clear of the building by the terminal hour specified and drinks service conclude 30 minutes earlier. If necessary, one additional hour can be made available for approved suppliers to pack down (note load-out restrictions below). Additional hours outside the agreed hire period may be negotiated but must be requested at least one month in advance and agreed in writing.
Options and extensions
- Early-morning opening for access prior to 0900 per hour or part thereof £500 + VAT
- Access is only permitted before 0800 in exceptional circumstances
- Afternoon set-up for evening events requiring access before 1800 per hour or part thereof £500 + VAT
- Late-night hire for events finishing at midnight additional £750 + VAT
- Special extensions to 0100 additional £1,750 + VAT
Under exceptional circumstances, clients may apply for a late-night package to 0100. This extension is subject to diary availability and LSO St Luke’s receipt of a Temporary Event Notice from Islington Council. Application must be made at least one month in advance of the event. Events are not permitted to continue beyond 0100 under any circumstances.
Jerwood Hall
The Jerwood Hall is the perfect flexible space and can accommodate up to 250 people for a banquet or dinner and 450 for a standing reception.
Café
The Café forms the heart of the reconstructed crypt and is a refreshing contemporary environment for pre-dinner drinks for up to 150.
Catering
At LSO St Luke’s we understand that great food and drink goes a long way to making any event special. This is why we have carefully selected, tried (and tasted!) a range of menus from our caterers to tantalise your taste buds.
Lighting, sound & services
Our technical team is experienced in providing high-quality sound and lighting for formal dinners and parties. We can advise you about designing and theming your event, recommend companies to provide flowers and suggest brilliant or unusual entertainment
Load-outs and curfew
LSO St Luke’s is in a residential area and has a strict curfew of 2300 for equipment load-outs, staff activity and vehicle movement at the rear of the building. Subject to diary availability it may be possible to arrange overnight storage and equipment collections for the morning following an event.
