Venue Description:

A Beautiful modern pub in the heart of the city, opposite The Monument to the great Fire of London.

Boasting a comfy lounge section full of leather sofa’s and relaxing deep chairs, a large canteen area to the rear of the pub ideal for large lunches & separate booth area’s for informal meetings.

Our large classic bar provides all the best branded draught beers (including Peroni & Becks Vier), a great selection of Greeneking ales & a constant guest ale that changes ‘barrell 2 barrell’! We are also Casque Marque approved and have been for over two years. We also provide an extensive range of premium spirits and liqueurs, and are famous for our full fruity pimms throughout the summer. Our wine list is changed twice a year and contains all the classic grape varieties, new and old world, + excellent champagnes to suite all tastes. We also have a constant wine promotion so our prices remain competitive throughout the year.

Packages:

Monday to Friday – reserving of space for up to 100 people, free of charge, no deposit!

Exclusive hire (whole venue) during the week we require the following ‘Minimum Spends’ to be met:

Monday £2000.00

Tuesday £3000.00

Wednesday £5000.00

Thursday £6000.00

Friday £8000.00

Please note that during the month of December these prices may vary.

Saturday/Sunday: exclusive hire starts at £1000.00 ‘Minimum Spend’

Minimum Spend denotes total sales for the function including VAT which can be on food and drink.

We have several Buffet packages starting at £4.95ph for 6 finger food items, rising to £15.95ph for 4 ‘Hot Hold’ buffet items and selections of finger food. Bespoke or themed buffets & sit down meals can be catered for by request. Self catering is allowable on weekend bookings.

A fully refundable 25% deposit is required for any minimum spend booking. All charges can be appropriately invoiced to organisers, we only accept payments via cash card or guaranteed cheque (no credit transfers) & all accounts must be settled on the night of the booking (a full itemised receipt will be issued upon payment)

We can cater for a wide variety of themed nights, parties and quiz nights.

For corporate quizzes we can host up to 100 people in the back section of the pub on Mondays - Wednesdays, but depending on the nature of the quiz we may have to hire extra tables & chairs (this is generally for interactive quizzes), where the cost will be passed on to the organisers. There is no booking charge or hire fee for such events.

Quiz nights of 100+ people will require exclusive booking (please refer to the packages section above). Where the quiz is sufficient size to incur a minimum spend we will take on extra set up charges of up £300.00

Our maximum numbers for a corporate quiz is 150 people (team sizes of 4-8 per team) & 175 for a sit down meal.

We can provide AV equipment for 2 plasma screens & one floor standing projector at no extra cost. We have available use of a radio mic for MC’s to use through our existing speaker systems and can provide PA systems where requested at no extra charge.
